Meet some of my contented customers

and read a testimonial from their humans...

Tippy, sweet angel boy.

Dear Cat Lover,

We would like to highly recommend Connie Page as a cat sitter. She is our sitter-of-choice, the only one we entrust our cats to when we’re away. Without her, we would have to board our cats – and with nine (yes!), that would be quite something!

Connie is absolutely and completely trustworthy. But even better, she knows and loves cats. Each cat gets individual attention. Outgoing cuddly cats get hugs, playful ones get a session with a favorite toy or even a crumpled piece of paper, and shy cats are found (wherever they may be hiding) and given a soft word.

Connie comes to meet your cats before her first visit – so that you can all get acquainted and be comfortable. With Connie as your cat sitter, you can be assured that your favorite furry friends will remain happy and cared for in their own home.

We hope that this recommendation helps you make a great choice – Connie the Cat Sitter. We’ll gladly talk to you if you’d like.  (Call or email Connie for contact information.)

Sincerely,
Judy and David H.

P.S. Our feline crew would like to endorse our choice, too!

Note from Jennifer C., dated 2/19/08:

I have been looking for a way to re-pay Connie for the excellent service that she provides.  To be able to give her a good reference, that could bring her more business, is something I was hoping to help with at some point.

My husband and I have two dogs and both work a lot.  One of our dogs got very sick early last year and we were forced to look for some help.  Connie was a name given by my vet, the Windham Animal Hospital, and I called her and met with her.  Although she had never regularly taken care of larger dogs (our Boxer, Bentley, is 75 pounds and can be intimidating) she met both of our dogs and even came back one more time when my husband and I were here to take the extra effort to get to know them before she came for the first time alone.

Since then, Bentley has lost all function in his back legs and Connie has to use a strap/rope contraption to help him walk around.  She accommodates this and helps with any accidents he has had in the house due to his age and condition.

Connie has been extremely reliable and flexible.  I sometimes may not know that I am traveling until a day or two before a trip and she has always been able to accommodate us.  She writes a descriptive note each time as well.  We had to board our dogs a few weeks a go because we were both out of town and we were very worried about this because of Bentley's condition.  Connie went by the vet on her own, without being paid, and went in to see them and give them some attention.

Overall, I cannot say enough about Connie.  I trust her unconditionally with our dogs and our home... we have no children and they really are our children.

Voice Message - May 26, 2009

I wanted you to know that the two suggestions you gave me worked.  You told me to take the cover off the litter box, and you told me to change the quality of the litter.  I did both of those things and it seems that my problem is resolved.  She’s completely going in the box!  So good job, thank you, I appreciate it.  I just wanted to follow up, I told you I would.  I’ll definitely give you a call if I have any other issues.

I met Connie earlier this year when one of my cats, Max, reached the stage of kidney disease where he needed fluids, and I just couldn't do it myself. I was frantically calling local vets looking for help I could afford and trust, and finally found Connie, who was was recommended by Starwood Veterinary. The moment I met her, I could see she was completely tuned into cats. My Max was a terror at the vet, so I was concerned that she would be able to handle him, and give him fluids by herself since I was at work every day. Not only did she manage to do it, but she made it such a positive experience that he would jump into her lap every day she came over! Sometimes I would peek in and see him nestled in her lap with his eyes closed. It was such a wonderful experience for both of us. After each visit, she would either call me or write up a detailed log.

Connie was also very helpful with the rest of my cats (I had 4 more at the time), keeping an eye on them and spending some time with all of them giving them treats and her own special brand of love. She always made me feel like I had a partner in the care of my kitties and I trust her completely with all of them. When I went on vacation this month she was at my house every evening spending time with my kitties and calling me every evening to tell me everything was fine.

Connie has my highest recommendation. She is completely trustworthy and has a gentleness and respect for animals that makes her the ideal pet sitter. She is also reliable and dependable and flexible and will work with you to meet your needs. My kitties and I are so lucky to have her in our lives!!

Emily
